Leadership

The STA Leadership curriculum provides students, in all grade levels, the opportunity to enhance leadership qualities, evaluate personal leadership qualities, identify, develop, and/or strengthen individual leadership characteristics, learn the benefits of teamwork, and incorporate leadership qualities and the concepts of team into STA involvement.

Leadership students engage in the evaluation of leadership qualities in others and learn how those qualities result in successes and/or failures. Service to STA and the community are the foundation of non-academic initiatives for all Leadership students. STA Alumni and notable community leaders are regular guests to the Leadership classes.

The STA Leadership Program partners with local middle schools and numerous non-profit programs to provide service in keeping with the STA Service Learning Policy.


Enrollment in STA Leadership takes place in the Spring/Summer.
