What is The Bienes Center for the Arts?

The Bienes Center for the Arts is a state of the art black box theater and event center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Located on the campus of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and convenient to major thoroughfares, the Bienes Center for the Arts features flexible staging areas as well as meeting and banquet facilities to accomodate up to 300 attendees.

The Bienes Center for the Arts at St. Thomas Aquinas is intended to nurture the emphasis on the arts for the students of St. Thomas Aquinas, other schools and institutions in the area and the community at-large. The Bienes Center offerings will excite the community about the important role of the "Arts" and will provide a venue for theatre, dance, music, lectures, art, drama, speech, and debate through the production of local, national and international events and performances.

The Center was founded to bring the performing, practical and visual arts to the youth of the community and, at the same time, to support those projects not possible under the constraints of larger performance venues.
