ST. THOMAS AQUINAS HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
St. Thomas Aquinas High School employs or contracts teachers who hold baccalaureate or higher degrees and who are professionally certified or are in the certification process.
Education and Certification:
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN FIELD
- MASTER’S DEGREE IN FIELD PREFERRED
- FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CERTIFICATE IN FIELD, GRADES 9 -12
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years’ teaching at the high school level
INSTRUCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Planning, organization, and implementation of instructional programs
- Excellent oral and written language communication
- Clear speaking voice
- Excellent classroom management
- Technology implementation and integration:
——–Use of digital textbooks and grade books
——–Google Suite
——–Blackboard
——–Database and Spreadsheet management
