Immortalized in "Strawberry Fields Forever" by John Lennon and The Beatles, former orphanage, Strawberry Field, is opening its gates once again. Sophomore, Giacinta Mote was there to cover it!

John Legend's iconic "Strawberry Fields Forever" paid homage to the facility that played a pivotal role in his childhood. Strawberry Field of Liverpool, England served as a Children's Home between 1936 and 2005, operated by the Salvation Army. Salvation Army continues to maintain the property to date. Now, the property operates as an educational resource center, teaching life skills to young adults with developmental disabilities.

Forever Family, founded by STA Parent: Gia Tutalo-Mote, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and teens in foster care find permanent, loving homes.
