The Independent Research Class has been meeting after school working diligently on their projects for the Broward County Science Fair. Three our students have taken the top prize and are headed to the state competition.
The Independent Research Class has been meeting after school working diligently on their projects for the Broward County Science Fair. We are exited to announce that three (3) of our students have taken the top prize at the county level and are headed to the state competition.

- Courtney Jensen First Place in Chemistry with her project Identification of a Palm Oil Replacement: Potassium Hydroxide Titration of Fatty Acids
- Nicholas Selvaggi First Place in Plant Sciences with a project titled Natural Plant Filtration with Funaria Hygrometrica and Phyllostachys Edulis Celluose
- Sina Stefanos First Place in Microbiology with the project titled Action Mechanisms of Acne Medications Modelled by Mycobacterium Smegmatis
