Tradition of Excellence

St. Thomas Aquinas High School, a private, co-ed, Catholic school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and founded in 1936, has a long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics.

  • Broward County All-Sports Trophy – 36 consecutive years: 1981-2016
  • Florida Athletic Coaches All-Sports Trophy – 32 years: 1984-1986; 1987-2016
  • Florida High School Activities Association All-Sports Trophy – 23 consecutive years: 1994 – 2016
  • Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel All-Sports Award
  • Max Preps National High School Athletic Program of the Year: 2010-2011


Congratulations Class of 2017 BCAA Scholar Athletes!

April 24, 2017, seven STA seniors were recognized at the BCAA Scholar-Athlete Awards. Honored for their achievements over four years were Brook Bauer, Kasey Geddis, Paula Gonzalez, Martin Grady with the Charity for Champions scholarship, Haley Mallion with the Charity for Champions scholarship, Robert Schulte, and Andrew White with the BCAA Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
