National Athletic Honor Society
The National Athletic Honor Society recognizes, supports, and rewards high school student athletes who achieve excellence in the classroom and on the field of play. We encourage and promote good student citizenship, sportsmanship, moral character, competition, and friendship among outstanding academic and athletic achievers in high school.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Membership is based on the following criteria. Students must meet all requirements each year to sustain eligibility.
- 4.5 cumulative GPA
- Up to date on all STA service hour requirements
- No disciplinary or attendance issues
- Participation in a minimum of 2 full athletic varsity seasons
- Must attend chapter meetings held each semester
A one-time membership fee of $25 will be collected upon acceptance.
Members are expected to maintain good academic standing and uphold academic integrity as stated in the Parent-Student Handbook.
