HOURS: 8:00 A.M. TO 1:30 P.M.

SUMMER INSTITUTE TUITION: $500 (Includes instructional materials)

Early registration and payment ensures class selection. Classes have limited space, and seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Late registration for required summer school courses can jeopardize acceptance.

Course format

At this time we expect that Summer Institute will be in person unless guidance from the CDC or the Archdiocese of Miami changes. Virtual options will depend on enrollment.

* Confirmation of all course offerings is subject to enrollment.

Ninth through twelfth grade students must wear the complete STA uniform to summer school classes. Achieve students must wear their current school uniform or khaki pants and collared shirts with brown or black shoes.

When a student receives a semester grade of “D” or “F” in a course taken at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, the student, with administrative approval, may remediate that semester grade in a summer session at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. The new grade earned is calculated in the GPA in place of the “D” or “F” which is bracketed on the student transcript indicating its replacement. There is no remediation for an AP or Dual Enrollment course.

According to State of Florida Department of Education guidelines, 65 contact hours constitute .5 academic credit. Consequently, a student must meet this criterion in order to receive credit for the course.

*St. Thomas Aquinas High School does not refund payments after the second day of class instruction.
